Our employees are our company's most important asset, because only as a team we can make a significant contribution to electromobility. Good and fair working conditions are therefore both a matter of course and a matter close to our hearts. This includes safety at work, work-life balance, fair dealings with and among employees, and appropriate payment. We have a zero-tolerance policy for violations of our Code of Conduct, which stands against discrimination of any kind.
However, we don't just leave it at principles, we also take action: as part of our certified Integrated Management System (IMS), we comply with the ISO standards for occupational health and safety (ISO 45001) and for quality management (ISO 9001), among others. We work continuously to reduce occupational accidents. Among other things, our employees therefore regularly take part in occupational safety training, so that in 2020 there were only six accidents, only one of which was reportable.
Good work must be rewarded: Compleo pays collectively agreed wages in the commercial sector, limiting wage differentials. In addition, payment is based on the performance of the individual. Nevertheless, we are continuously improving and plan to analyze, present and wherever necessary improve the existing gender pay gap in the company in the future.
Of our employees, 80% are men and 20% are women. This results from the fact that the manufacturing sector, particularly in electrical engineering, is still male-dominated. Nevertheless, it is important to us to further diversify the team. For this reason, we pay particular attention to a balanced gender distribution among our junior staff.
In addition, we conduct regular surveys to assess the satisfaction of our employees and to be able to keep improving. The last survey in July 2020 showed that more than 95% of the participating employees are "rather satisfied" or "satisfied.
